Spanish Night – Wine Dinner

A small introduction …

The diverse landscape of the Spanish wine scene ticks all the boxes and can provide everything you will ever need from full-bodied food friendly reds, to elegant crisp whites.

Spain was able to get a head start on the majority of the wine producing world, having a vast amount of indigenous grape varieties already growing in the country and a history of wine production dating back as early as 1100BC. However, it wasn’t until the 1950s that the wine became close to what we know and drink today.

We will take you on a journey to discover less known grapes varieties, appellations and wine producers.

Hallgarten Druitt & Novum Wines will host our Spanish Night.

We have been working with Hallgarten for many years and believe in their portfolio and passion for wine. Hallgarten is one of the UK’s leading specialist wine distributors.
Established in 1933 it is family owned and has a portfolio of close to 1000 wines from 32 countries. They import blends from the worlds traditional wine producing regions to the more esoteric varieties off the beaten track.

We are sure you will enjoy both their knowledge and presentation and Allister’s Spanish menu.
